PRIVACY POLICY

GatePad is designed as a fully offline application. We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data on external servers.

Information Stored

All information entered into GatePad — including property names, addresses, access codes, PINs, and notes — is:

• Provided voluntarily by the user
• Stored locally on the user’s device only
• Never transmitted to GatePad servers or third parties

GatePad does not provide cloud backup, synchronization, or remote storage of any kind.

Data Collection

GatePad:

• Does not collect analytics
• Does not use tracking technologies
• Does not sell, share, or monetize user data
• Does not access data outside the app

Local Storage & Uninstall Behavior

GatePad stores all data locally on your device.

On some platforms, including iOS, certain secure information (such as PINs or security credentials) may remain stored in the device’s secure system storage even if the app is uninstalled. This behavior is controlled by the operating system and is outside of GatePad Services LLC’s control.

If you wish to fully reset access, you must use the app’s security or reset features before uninstalling.

Security

GatePad uses local device-based security mechanisms, such as PIN protection, to help secure stored information.

• Does not transmit security data externally
• Does not provide remote recovery of PINs
• Cannot restore access if security credentials are lost

User Responsibility

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you store
• You must ensure you have legal authorization to store and use all entered information
• You are responsible for protecting access to your device and app

Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Continued use of GatePad constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Purpose of the App

GatePad is a private access and property information manager designed for property owners, property managers, and authorized users to organize access-related information.

No Access Provision

GatePad:

• Does not generate access codes
• Does not verify access permissions
• Does not provide physical or digital access to any property

All data stored in the app is entered solely by the user.

User Responsibility

You confirm that:

• You have legal authorization to store and use all information entered
• You will not use GatePad for unlawful, unauthorized, or malicious purposes
• You accept full responsibility for how stored information is used

Data Loss & Device Issues

GatePad Services LLC is not responsible for:

• Loss of data due to device failure, operating system behavior, app deletion, or reinstallations
• Security issues caused by user actions or device compromise
• Inability to recover data or access credentials

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GatePad Services LLC shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or misuse of the app.

Termination

GatePad Services LLC reserves the right to terminate access to the app if these terms are violated.

Updates

These terms may be updated periodically. Continued use of GatePad indicates acceptance of the updated terms.

DISCLAIMER

GatePad does not provide, generate, verify, or guarantee access codes or property access.

All information is entered by the user, who confirms having legal authorization to store and use such data.

GatePad is not a security service, emergency service, or access control system. Use of the app is entirely at the user’s own risk.
